Colt Science Teacher Combats Testing Fatigue with Cool Incentive
Mr. Beer sings Frozen’s hit song, “Let it Go”, to students at A Lunch on Wednesday, April 3rd.

This week, Mr. Beer, an Environmental Science teacher, found a way to encourage his students to improve their test scores. “I offered an incentive to my students if, on the next test, the overall or any individual class average was at least 70%:  [sic] I would dress as a fictional character of their choice for all/successful classes,” Beer detailed in an email to faculty and staff. “And then…,” Beer says, “my students did it.”

The winner of the fictional character contest? Elsa, from Disney’s Frozen movie franchise, which includes Frozen (2013) & Frozen 2 (2019).
