I recently went to go see the new Guardians of the Galaxy movie with some friends and it’s
probably the best marvel movie I’ve ever seen. Guardians of the Galaxy is the third installment in
the Guardian of the Galaxy renditions in the MCU and prior to seeing Volume 3 the only other
GotG movie I saw was Volume 2. Volume 3 takes place after the events of Endgame and The
Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas Special and unlike the previous 2 focuses on Rocket Raccoons
backstory and how he became what he is today. The movie had a lot of moments where I just felt
so bad for him due to his upbringing and really made me like the character much more by the end
of it.
And it’s not just me who really enjoyed the movie either, former Coral Springs student;
now graduate, Tin L. regards Guardians of the Galaxy “The best trilogy in the MCU.” and I’d have
to agree. Melissa P. also praises the movie for its sad moments and amazing pacing with her stating
“It was good and wasn’t as long as I thought it would be. It went by so fast; I really enjoyed it.”
and again id have to say she makes a strong point, the movie did go by seemingly in an instant.
Another aspect of the film I enjoyed was the music throughout the film which saw the likes
of Radiohead, Heart, Beastie Boys, Florance + The Machine, Redbone, and much more. Another
aspect that really kept me engaged throughout the film was the use of CGI and cinematography.
The movie had multiple settings such as Knowhere, Counter-Earth, and the Orgoscope; all
beautifully crafted either digitally or practically but nevertheless only adding to the bigger picture.
Adding onto the already stacked score and production is the acting. Chirs Pratt once again
brings a great rendition of Star Lord although drunk for half the film and upset that Gamora doesn’t
remember him. Another performance I really enjoyed was the duo Drax and Mantis by Dave

Bautista and Pom Klementieff. It just felt like every time the two were on screen I cracked up. And
lastly, we can’t forget Bradley Cooper’s performance as Rocket racoon, absolute perfection.
Altogether, Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 was a great watch and I strongly advise you
take a couple of hours out of your day to watch it I promise you; you won’t regret it.
